Instructions for online trading

Overview

1.Purpose

Online trading or NVS.OnlineTrading of Navibank Securities Joint Stock Company (NVS) is a product provided to NVS customers for the purpose of managing personal accounts and trading securities (CK) via the Internet. When using NVS.OnlineTrading, you can easily access it anywhere without requiring information technology skills for complex installation or configuration.

Before using the NVS.OnlineTrading service, customers will be provided with a user and password for trading by NVS. Customers must commit to using the product for the option purpose, complying with NVS regulations and other legal regulations related to transactions via the Internet

2.Some features of the system:

  • Transparent and accurate: You can track all transaction activities related to your account at any time and in the most detailed way possible.

 

  • Clear order status: You will track the change in order status, from the time the order is transferred to the system at NVS until the order is matched at the Stock Exchange/TT and the order matching result is returned to the customer.

 

  • Advance: You can advance money to sell securities without having to go through the procedure each time you advance, the advance fee is only calculated on the part you actually trade, with a minimum of VND 50,000/time.

 

  • Online money transfer: You must register with NVS about the account receiving the transfer (both internal and external transfers).

3.Login

Support Contact Information

To log in, you need to fill in the following information:

  • Username: Your account number at NVS
  • Password: The password you were given by NVS when you registered for online trading (You should change your password after logging in)

After logging in, the Authentication Method window will appear, you choose 1 of the 2 following authentication methods:

  • Authentication by OTP password: You will receive an OTP code message to the phone number you registered when opening an account at NVS.
  • Authentication via digital certificate (CA): You choose the authentication method via digital certificate as SmartCA VNPT or CA Token.

If successful, you will be able to log in to the system and proceed with the transaction. If the login is unsuccessful, the system will display an error message and ask you to check your information and log in again.

Functions of Internet Trading

1.1 . Account balance information

  • Cash balance
  • Select the “Cash balance” tab.
  • Displays the available cash balance (purchase order), Collateral value, purchasing power, Remaining debt (if the customer uses the margin loan form).
  • On the “Cash information” screen, the amount that can be advanced, the amount of deposit in the customer’s account is displayed

1.2.Transaction information

  • Online order list:
  • Select the “Orders of the day” tab.
  • The screen displays a list of orders of the day of the customer account.
  • The order list shows all orders placed via the Internet Trading system and placed on the exchange, the time of placing, the number of matches and the price of the matches, the order status (pending to send, sent, matched, successfully canceled, etc.)
  • List of matched orders during the day:
  • Select the tab “Search / Matched orders during the day”
  • The screen displays a list of matched orders during the day
  • The list of matched orders during the day shows all matched orders during the day: matching time, matching quantity, matching price, matching value, order type, matching order number
  • Payment waiting list:
  • Select the tab “Search / Payment waiting
  • The screen displays the list of securities quantity and value of money waiting to return according to the payment and clearing time
  • Payment waiting list shows all securities quantity and value of money waiting to return T0, T1, T2
  • Order Statement:
  • Select the “Search / Stock Trading History” tab
  • Select the stock code or from date to date to filter the data you want to display.
  • Select the “Update” button
  • A list of all orders placed within the selected time period. The list shows the order status, date and time placed, quantity and matched price, order type, and order channel.
  • Cash Statement:
  • Select the “Lookup / Cash Transaction History” tab
  • Select “From date” “To date” to filter.
  • Select the “Update” button
  • The list of cash increases/decreases during the lookup period is displayed on the screen.

2. Order placement function

2.1. Place an order to buy/sell securities

After successfully logging into the system, you choose the sub-account to place an order to buy/sell securities.

  • Fill in the order information:

Use the “Enter” key or the “Tab” key on the keyboard to move through the order information fields.

*** Note:

  • Account: You choose the sub-account you want to buy/sell
  • Buy/Sell: You choose to place a buy/sell order
  • Stock Code: After entering the correct stock code name, the system will automatically display the full name and reference price, ceiling, floor of that stock code.
  • Order type: You choose one of the following order types: LO/ATO/ATC

You need to clearly understand the regulations on order types of each Market/Stock Exchange, as well as for each trading session. You need to consider carefully before choosing the order type.

* Put-through order: Your put-through order will be executed through NVS’s Securities Department.

  • Volume: You fill in the exact quantity of securities you want to buy or sell. For a sell order, the quantity must not exceed the quantity of securities that can be traded
  • Price: If you choose the order type as Limit, you fill in the full price of buying/selling securities (unit: 1000 VND)

For example: Price “Nine thousand one hundred VND”, you will fill in 9.1

If you choose the ATO/ATC order type, you do not need to fill in the price, the default price is ATO/ATC.

  • Confirm order
  • After filling in all the order information, press Enter or click the “Place Order” button.
  • You check the order information again on the “Confirm Order” screen, enter the “Order Code” and click “Confirm” to place the order.
  • The system notifies that the order has been successfully entered.

*** Note:

  • Order code: You must enter the transaction password to place an order; you can choose to save the order code for future transactions (only valid during the login session).

2.2. Order cancellation

    • After successfully logging into the system, you can cancel the order to buy/sell securities.
      • Select the tab “Orders placed in the day
      • Select the order you want to cancel.
      • Click the “Cancel” button
      • Confirm the order: enter the order code. Click the “Confirm” button to execute.
